Glass Eyes for Teddy Bears – Light Smoked Topaz Our traditional glass eyes for teddy bears have been handmade to a high quality in England with stainless steel hoops for inserting. The eyes are intended for collectable teddy bears, to repair vintage teddy bears, needle felting and art dolls. The hoops on the back of the eyes have been flattened enabling the clip to be squeezed together after the securing thread has been attached. This makes as small as possible profile to the clip creating no damage to the weave when the eye is fitted to the bear head. You can buy single pairs of eyes or, to save a little money, packs of 5 pairs, or packs of 10 pairs of eyes. The eyes are made by hand and, because of this, there can be a variation in size. We always aim to send a pack of 5 pairs that have been matched in size but the size can vary slightly from pack to pack. For example, a 6mm pack could contain 5 pairs of 6.3mm eyes or 5 pairs of 5.8mm eyes etc. These eyes give a wonderful finish to many crafts, not just bear making.
