Cotter Pin Joints for teddy bears 21mm – 64mm Cotter pin joints for teddy bears (and other creations!) enable them to have moving arms, legs and head and are the traditional way to joint a toy.  Our cotter pin joint sets contain British hardboard disks, washers and British T-head cotter pins and are great for repairing vintage bears and making artist bears. Assuming your creation has two arms, two legs and one head, most creations will need 5 joints.  Our cotter pin joints are available in the following pack sizes: 5 joints (5 cotter pins, 10 washers and 10 disks) – Shown in the second to last photo 25 joints (25 cotter pins, 50 washers and 50 disks) – Shown in the last photo 50 joints (50 cotter pins, 100 washers and 100 disks) – Double that of the last photo Depending on the size of your creation, our cotter pin joints are available in different sizes.  The bigger the creation, the bigger the disk you will need.  They come in the following sizes: 21mm 25mm 30mm 35mm 44mm 64mm The cotter pin joint size relates to the diameter of the disk (eg a 21mm cotter pin measures 21mm across the width of the disk).  Depending on the size of the disk, the length of the pins are selected to be a suitable match. We also stock smaller disks and they have been made from fibre board which is thinner to be less bulky in smaller bears. These can also be found on our website.
