Funky Friends Reggie the Keepsake Reindeer Sewing Pattern Finished Size: 35cm (14 inches) from sitting to top of head! Funky Friends Reggie Reindeer is a button jointed (but can be made without joints!) cute little reindeer who wants to spread festive cheer this holiday! He is a jointed, ‘sitting toy’ that has been designed to be made as a lovely Christmas present for the children or- he could be used to decorate the table! Like all of our Funky Friends Factory patterns, Reggie can also be made as a keepsake toy by using the contrasting fabric on his feet, tummy and ears for special fabrics or logos. Reggie can be sewn with most fabrics but Funky Friends recommends stretchy fabrics for the body such as fleece (for extra snuggliness!), velour, chenille and flannelette ect. The full size paper pattern comes with an instruction booklet. In addition to this, Funky Friends also have tutorial videos to help guide you through your toy making journey. Materials you will need to make Funky Friends Reggie the Keepsake Reindeer:- Light Brown Fleece Material – 36cm x 64cm wide (14 inches x 25 inches wide) Dark Brown Fleece- 16cmx 48cm wide (6½ inches x 19 inches wide) Black Fleece – 16cm x 36cm wide 6½4 x 14 inches wide) Small Piece of white fleece and red stretch fabric Small piece of white fake fur for boot tops 6mm Black Safety eyes Florist’s wire / chenille stick for the antlers Christmas Ribbon – 43cm (17 inches) for the scarf 4 Buttons – 24mm (1 inch) Sewing thread Toy Stuffing Iron-on light/medium weight interfacing (this is needed only if you are using thin or very stretchy fabrics or, if you are using a mix of different types of fabrics) Equipment you will need:- A sewing needle & pins Fabric scissors with a fine tip Paper scissors Fine tipped fabric pen or a pencil Craft Glue & firm card for the templates (cereal boxes are fine!)
