Jointed Teddy Bear Pattern – Traditional – Paolo 38cm With this traditional, jointed teddy bear pattern you can make Paolo bear who proudly stands 38cm tall. Paolo is fully jointed and has a cute little tail too! In addition to the pattern and instructions, you will also need the following (all of which can be bought from Amazing Craft): 25 x 140cm mohair (1/4m of mohair will be plenty) – Paolo has been made from our 20mm Natural mohair 12cm x 25cm paw pad fabric 2 x 25mm sets of cotter pin joints 2 x 35mm sets of cotter pin joints 1 x 45mm sets of cotter pin joints 9mm Glass Eyes Thread for the nose (we have used DMC Cotton Perle thread) Sewing thread to match your mohair Polyfibre stuffing If you want to add a little weight to your bear, our Steel Weighting works well. This pattern assumes knowledge of jointed bear making and would probably be best for those who have made bears before. Paolo can be sewn completely by hand (back stitch is the main stitch used) or on a sewing machine if preferred (there will be a little hand sewing needed).
