Toy Pig Sewing Pattern – Trixie Trufflesfrom Country Folk by Brenda Walker This toy pig sewing patten – Trixie Truffles from the Country Folk range makes an extremely cute pig.  Created by the talented Brenda Walker, Trixie stands 26cm (10 1/2″) tall.  The full size pattern to make this sweet pig also comes complete with a pattern to make her a pretty dress too.  Brenda also completes her patterns with easy to follow instructions and says “I design and create decorations for the home inspired by the Northamptonshire countryside”! Trixie Truffles can be sewn by hand or by machine.  To make Trixie Truffles you will need:- Materials you will need: .    1/2m (20″) of pink wool felt .    Fat quarter of fabric for her dress .    A small piece of fabric for her inner ears .    1 pair 9mm black safety eyes .    2 x 12mm (1/2″) pale pink buttons to attach the arms (or 12mm cotter pin joints) .    scrap of dark pink felt (nose) .    Extra strong black thread or stranded embroidery silk for the eyelashes .    Fusible webbing .    polyfibre stuffing (250g will be plenty) .    Cotton or polyester sewing thread to match your fabric Equipment you will need: .     A sewing needle .     A doll needle .     Fabric scissors .     Paper scissors .     Tailor’s chalk, fabric pen or a pencil .     An iron (for the fusible webbing) Stitches used: .     Back stitch .     Ladder stitch   Skills needed:  To complete this project, the maker will need to be able: .     to hand sew or use a sewing machine   Like this:Like Loading...
