Lady Primrose Patch Rabbit Pattern by Brenda Walker Sew a sweet toy rabbit with the Lady Primrose Patch pattern, from the Country Folk range.  Lady Primrose, makes an adorable toy rabbit complete with hat, dress, bloomers, shoes and bag.  Created by the talented Brenda Walker, Lady Primrose stands approximately 46cm (18″) tall. Brenda also completes her patterns with easy to follow instructions and says “I design and create decorations for the home inspired by the Northamptonshire countryside!” Lady Primrose can be sewn by hand or by machine. Materials you will need for Lady Primrose: .   Fat quarter of Brown Boucle Coating Fabric (or wool felt) .  Extra strong thread to match your fabric .  20cm (8″) square beige felt (for the ears and muzzle) .  1 pair 7.5mm safety eyes .   Scrap of black felt for the nose .   Stranded embroidery thread for the mouth .  2 x 30cm (12″) chenille pipe cleaners (for the ears) .   2 x 15mm (5/8″) buttons to fasten the arms and legs (or you could use 15mm or 16mm safety joints) .  Polyfibre stuffing (approx 250g ) .  5″ doll needle   Materials you will need for her clothes: .  1/2m fabric for the dress .  1/8m for the bloomers .  1/8m for her hat and bag .  Co-ordinating stranded embroidery silk for her hat and bag .  Fat 1/8m wadding .  2m long x 1/2″ wide cotton lace for dress and bloomers .  30cm x 22cm (12″ x 9″) Black felt for her boots .  4 gold buttons or beads for her boots .  2 gold buttons for her bag .  a 5mm bead or button for the flower centre   Equipment you will need: .     A sewing needle .     Fabric scissors .     Paper scissors .     Tailor’s chalk, fabric pen or a pencil   Skills needed:  To complete this project, the maker will need to be able: .     to hand sew or use a sewing machine Like this:Like Loading...
